Course overview

BIE MRI Breast Online 2023 course is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of MRI breast imaging techniques, protocols, and indications, including pre-operative staging, neo-adjuvant chemotherapy, DCIS, and post-operative, and augmented breasts.

The course features lectures on basics to advanced applications for MRI breast imaging, a clinical approach with multiple case demonstrations, and interactive sessions with adequate time for case discussion.

The faculty will review 30+ MRI cases, and participants will have the opportunity to discuss cases with the faculty during the interactive sessions. Participants will learn the pros and cons of MRI in breast cancer staging, the controversies related to it, and how to report MRI breast systematically as per ACR BIRADS classification.

The course provides access to recorded lectures for two weeks after the course, and participants will receive a certificate of participation upon completion. The interactive sessions and case demonstrations will provide practical insights into the reporting of MRI breast systematically.

 
 

Course Director's Message

This unique online course is designed to teach you about the basics as well as some part of advanced MRI breast reporting from the comfort of your homes. Through various lectures, the role of MRI breast in various breast conditions will be shared. More than 30 fully worked up cases will be shared with you for prior review that will be discussed by the moderators during the course. This will greatly enhance your understanding on the subject and deepen your knowledge on this important imaging modality. You will learn reporting of MRI Breast as per the ACR BIRADS guidelines using appropriate lexicon and recommendations. A good mixture of various cases from routine clinical practice will give a comprehensive learning experience to you to be able to improve your clinical skills. By attending the course, you will also become a BIE member which will give you free access to the beta testing program of the BIEDX platform. In addition, you will be a part of the learners' closed community where you will be able to get tons of help on your live cases and learning needs.
